Hi, I’m Teo Schnell, an incoming Aerospace Engineering student at San José State University and President of Cabrillo Robotics Club.
My interests include autonomous aerospace systems, flight control, UAV design, simulation, and aerospace research. I enjoy combining software, hardware, and experimental testing to better understand how complex engineering systems behave in the real world.
Recent work includes:
- Development of a custom STM32-based UAV flight controller with PID stabilization
- Physics-based modeling and experimental validation of RC aircraft performance
- UAV design, simulation, and testing through Cabrillo Robotics
- NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at UC Santa Cruz focused on advanced semiconductor photodetectors
This website documents my engineering projects, research experiences, and technical development as I work toward a career in aerospace engineering.
